Wuh Duh Fuh. Cleaning it Up.

Over the last several months, people have approached me to inquire about the meaning of “wuh duh fuh.” 

My first response is to ask them to pronounce it and let me know what their interpretation is. From there, it turns into a fun conversation, with a lot of laughing.

Last Sunday, at the La Jolla Open Aire Market, I was asked to explain it to an 8-year-old girl. Yikes.

“The Mom” encouraged her daughter to ask me what it meant. She quietly said that she was teaching her daughter a “lesson” and it was okay to respond. I was reluctant, but encouraged to use “wuh duh fuh” as a lesson so my natural teaching skills set in.
